Membership Application

Membership to the United Filipino Canadian Associations in BC (UFCABC) is reserved for duly registered Societies in the Province of British Columbia that are affiliated with the Canadian-Filipino community. Membership accords opportunity to collaborate and network as a united community to attain common goals and aspirations.    

Process: an applicant organization officially enters request to join the UFCABC via this Application Portal Page. This will entail submission of relevant registration documents complying with the BC Society's Registration. Once an application is received, the secretariat will review the request and schedules for a formal presentation by the applicant organization at the next available meeting of the Board. The applicant once scheduled is invited to formally present to the board and shall be prepared to share it's vision and mission and answer questions as need be. A motion is then entered by a current member of the Board who acts as the sponsor of the applicant for the admission of the organization. If no objection is raised, the motion shall be deemed passed.

Acceptance: If accepted, the organization shall pay the prescribed annual dues. Annual dues are due every 1st day of April for the current year. Regardless of the which day the new member is registered, the initial payment shall cover the annual due only until 31 March of the current year and will be required to pay the regular annual dues from 01 April as renewal.
